Who We Are

CWFD Nibedita is a sister concern of Concerned Women for Family Development (CWFD)—a women-led organization established in 1975 (Visit CWFD Website).  With nearly five decades of experience in community service, CWFD has always prioritized the health and well-being of individuals, especially women, children, and adolescents.

As part of that legacy, Nibedita was launched to further strengthen community empowerment through integrated, affordable, and high-quality services focused on physical health, mental well-being, and nutrition. Our journey began in 2004 with the Nibedita Maternal and Child Health Clinic, and over time, we have expanded into new areas including mental health services and a catering service that promotes healthy eating and livelihood support.

Through Nibedita, we are committed to continuing CWFD’s legacy of care, compassion, and community-centered service—offering accessible, quality-driven support for healthier, happier lives.

Mission

We provide integrated health services to meet the diverse needs of individuals that ranged from physical healthcare to mental health support and nutritional nourishment. By delivering these services, we aim to strengthen the health of communities, promote gender equality, and ensure that every individual can live with dignity and strength.

Vision

To empower communities with a sustainable productive future where access to health including physical, reproductive and mental well-being; as well as nutritional nourishment is considered as fundamental rights within family and society.
